Description

Softboards are suited for surfers who have had a surf lesson and want to practice surfing whitewash waves. If you?re new to surfing and still trying to find your feet, then these learn-to-surf boards are what you want to start on. Made from hardened foam, they are perfect for first timers as they are more buoyant and stable in the water than fibreglass designs. Learn-to-surf boards are also a lot thicker than standard boards, making it easier to catch waves. This thickness allows them to float a lot better, meaning they won't get ripped away when a wave breaks on you. Learn-to-surf boards are also a safer option. Being a beginner, you're probably going to fall off a few times and get hit by your board. Foam is a lot softer than fibreglass, making these boards less likely to hurt you and less likely to be damaged. Please request your preferred size, shape, volume, etc. during the booking process.

Special Requirements / Payment Terms

We require 1 day's notice for all bookings. Full payment due at the time of booking. A deposit in cash or credit card details will be required when the Goods are collected. Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. The Customer is not entitled to any refund of the Price if it returns the Goods before the Hire Period Ends. Gold Coast Surfboard Hire may cancel or reject your hire due to unsuitable surf conditions. If conditions are unsafe, you will be asked to reschedule or given a full refund.
